I agree about the quote and abstinence. I quit many many many? years of alcohol abuse before I quit totally and completely…and I know in my heart of hearts that if I took a single drink, in my head I could justify it and eventually would be totally drinking again, believing in the beginning …Wow look at me , I CAN drink a little and be OK…it will lead to more and more and my treatment cost nothing…just family members who cared.
