What Should I Do About My Pain?

Question by : what should i do about my pain?
I already posted the back story about my back and hip pain but today it seems to be worse. Everybody is telling me that its not a big deal and to suck it up but I cant even sit down without my back and hip hurting. My parents want me to go to Nashville tomorrow which is 2 and a half hours away. I can’t even sit 5 minutes without hurting. All the dr tells me is take your medicine which only make me go to sleep. Please give me advice on what I should do.
I am taking Lortab Tizanidine and Skelaxin.

From reading your other post I see that you have had xrays, an MRI, etc and nothing was found.
Muscle spasms may be causing the pain. Also someone suggested bursitis, and here is a link with articles on bursitis;

You posted about your age and weight–As we get older, things can affect us (cause pain) that didn’t beforehand.
this may have been building up for months/years and has now just started causing you pain.
Of course losing weight may help.
I don’t know what medication you are taking or how much.
Are you on flexeril? it is for back pain–muscle spasms. it can make you very drowsy.
Have you tried heat–such as a heating pad or hot water bottle?
i hope yopu are able to get some relief.
