Successful Addiction Treatment

Successful Addiction Treatment – Successful Addiction Treatment – Sarah’s Story www.therecoveryplace.net (877) 523-3428 When Sarah arrived for addiction treatment at The Recovery Place, she brought years of pain and trauma along with her. Her traumas started in elementary school. “I was molested,” Sarah shares, “and cutting myself was a way of feeling a different type of pain, so that I didn’t have to feel the emotional pain.” Sarah knew she had to learn a new way to deal with life, and to cope with the trauma and pain. Receiving support and learning new tools and life skills to manage her pain is working for Sarah. She’s been clean now for 90 days. Having people to trust and talk to, both staff and peers at The Recovery Place, is helping her recovery.
