I know some one who is doing this and was wondering what he would face if he got caught.

Its Suboxone. An opiate blocker that replaces opiate highs.

Hard to tell. Every community is different. If he’s dealing they’ll give em prison time. Abusing it will probably land him 30 days in the can, probation and drug rehab of some sort. They’ll probably end up prescribing the stuff to him too.
