Question by : if i have medical power of attorney and permission from the biological parents, can I move out of the state?
I have Medical power of attorney and working on guardianship. Can I (we) move out of the state of Michigan, My fiance has a really good job opportunity in Tennessee. We already have full permission from the Biological parents. They are also under investigation for using Drugs. and have major drug related problems, crack and meth. My question is, Can I (we) get into legal problems by moving to another state. The biological parents are also more then willing to give us permission hand written and notarized.

If the child is a foster child, why aren’t you asking your social worker these questions?
