I Was Just, Terminated From My Job, Because of False Accusations of Drug Use?
Question by : I was just, terminated from my job, because of false accusations of drug use?
I was hired by a security company, and they transferred me to Nashville Tennessee, after being there three days, I was confronted by a manager who said, ” We, have a few guys who say that you may have a drug problem.” He went on to tell me that I was fired and was going to be sent home. I have put a lot of hard-work and effort into this job, and to be fired because of hearsay, is rather disappointing. I asked around the office, and was given the name of a person who, according to my manager, I “solicited for ecstasy.” He said that it was an untrue statement. I do not do drugs and I’m just wondering what I should do to remedy this. A few of the other guys I recently worked with said I should sue. What do you think?
They also wouldn’t accommodate me with a simple drug test… which I would have passed.
